Technology evolves and so must society.

Computer ethics is concerned with how we should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct. These include intellectual property rights, privacy concerns, and how computers affect society in areas such as artificial intelligence and human communication.

As our technological world evolves, computer ethics continues to create ethical standards that address new issues raised by new technologies.

Should we all be active participants in creating these standards, or should we be leaving the decision-making to the computer scientist community, influencers, or opportunists?

Should all citizens not be conversant in these areas?
